S3 Episode 6 | The 3 Cone Drill for NFL Combine Training

This is our final episode in Season 3 of Smart Speed and Power Training with Dr. Mike Young, Director of Performance and Research at Athletic Lab, looking at the 3 Cone Drill.
In this series we’ve been exploring the key tests used to assess football players before they enter the NFL. You can access every episode of the season linked below.
In the final instalment, Coach Young looks at the 3 cone drill, also known as the ‘L’ drill. This is a great test for looking at an athlete’s ability to run fast, change direction and have circular or rotational speed.
