In a game scenario, team athletes need to action their agility and change of direction abilities in three dimensions; laterally, up and down, backwards and forwards. Training agility and change of direction must incorporate all three of these dimensions to acclimatise your athlete for maximum in-game performance. In this episode, Coach Young discusses each dimension individually, providing training techniques and tests to improve the balance of your athlete’s agility abilities.
