Over the course of the two-day MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference, Fusion Sport will also be educating delegates in the Data Visualisation Room and taking them on an interactive journey into the world of human performance data.
In addition to presentations from our partners we will also be showcasing some research and analysis tools including:
Training Stress Balance (TSB) analysis
TSB is a model that provides an index of athlete preparedness based on load data such as GPS or self-reported measures. Also known as Acute/Chronic Workload Ratio (ACWR), TSB has become a popular method of load monitoring for injury prevention. Our performance scientist will show you how to implement and interpret the TSB model for any load measurements.
Injury Risk Profiling
We’ll showcase recent research completed with one of our leading Professional Team Clients that developed a flexible multi-dimensional model for injury risk profiling and explain how it can be applied in your environment.
Data Audit Tool
Starting with quality data is crucial to good analytics, yet there are no tools on the market that allow users to interrogate the quality of their data quickly and easily. Come and see our recently developed Data Audit Tool, designed to improve data quality for analytics. You can even bring along your own data to be analyzed.
Force Velocity Profiling (FVP)
FVP is a novel approach to assess an athlete’s mechanical output during sprints using analytics. Based on a simple sprint profile, and using SMARTABASE’s integrated R-connector, FVP will guide the coach’s strategy for producing faster, injury free athletes.
Drop us a line if you would like to lean more about these. We look forward to seeing you in Boston.
