On May 27, 2009 US partner BAM Testing was the first company in history to use electronic timing equipment to run the fitness testing component of the NBA Rookie Combine in Chicago, Illinois.
Fusion SMARTSPEED systems were used for speed, agility and jump testing. All players were fitted with SMARTSCAN RFID bands, and all tests were captured automatically on video using the SMARTCAPTURE Dartfish video integration package.
